I been to Singapore yesterday. Nothing special to talk about my journey to Singapore. What special is the new custom. It looks grand & modern but once you get to see its surrounding you will find the whole thing is totally mess up. In order to rush for its opening the supposed lorry & motorcycle checkpoints are now render useless. Now these two checkpoints are block by the road that link to the causeway.

Actually, with the scarapping of the S bridge from the project, it suppose to build a bridge straight to the causeway but in order to rush for its opening, the whole thing turn out totally mess up. Screw the government. Waste rakyat's money.

Another problem is the signboard. O my god, this CIQ is the gateway to Malaysia & a lot of tourist will use it. Even Malaysia wants to show off its Bahasa Malaysia also, please don't neglect English which is the international language. At least increase its font size that a normal human eyesight is able to see it easily. If can, put in more languages, it will be better. After all, custom is an international gateway.

No matter what, that new CIQ is not fully complete & I hope all this mess can be corrected as soon as possible. If leave it like that then it will become a laughing stock for others. Hope it can be corrected soon.

Still, there are things that I'm happy with the custom such as the checkpoint for departure & arrival of the non-vehicle & the place to wait for buses. The checkpoint is high tech, fast, efficient, clean & nice. Just that the security is not as tight as the Singapore CIQ. For the bus waiting area, is way better than Singapore, there is no need to inhale exhaust fume from the bus.

By the way, since the opening of this new CIQ, a lot of people complains that they got to walk a very long distance to get to the bus station. I want to tell this people something, if you are not very old please don't complain. You complain means you are damn bloody lazy. The government got its reason for it to be like that. They want Malaysian to be healthy. Walk more. Is good for health. At least you get the chance to exercise. No more excuses to skip exercise. LoL
