Oh yeah!! Finally, after 20 years of gold drought, Malaysia at least has a gold for football in SEA Games even though is through the own goal of the Vietnamese player but from the beginning until the final, team Malaysia perform very well. RTM Reporter Assume 'We' Can Means 'I'

After Utusan Malaysia reporter misinterpret ultra vires as to insult, now we have another reporter from RTM, Eliana Mazlan that said 'We' can mean 'I'. Besides that, she don't even know which party is Karpal Singh belongs to and she could not identify the component parties of Pakatan Rakyat.

Below are some of the the news I extrarcted from Malaysian Insider*.

During cross-examination, Jagdeep decided to use the video after Eliana failed to answer several questions based on the transcript.

Jagdeep: Do you understand the meaning of ultra vires?

Eliana: I am not sure.

Jagdeep: So you don’t understand or not sure?

Eliana replied that she understood and the defence counsel asked the reporter to define the term.

Eliana: Actions that are above the law.

The defence counsel then asked her if she believes that definition provided by her colleague was correct.

Eliana: I am not sure.

Jagdeep: So it might be right?

Eliana: It might be right, it might be wrong.

On Wednesday, Utusan Malaysia reporter Mohd Nizam Mohd Yatim told the High Court that he thought the phrase “ultra vires” contained in a press release issued by Karpal meant the DAP man was insulting the Perak Sultan.

The defence counsel then referred to the video and asked the reporter if she understood what was shown on the clip.

Eliana: Karpal said that he will sue the Sultan of Perak because the Sultan is not qualified to interfere.

Jagdeep then asked her if she really believed what she said until the reporter finally admitted that she was not sure and asked for the clip to be replayed.

“So you are not sure. This is serious, you cannot just give answers like that,” Jagdeep scolded.

Judicial Commissioner Azman Abdullah then accepted the reporter’s request for the clip to be replayed.

Jagdeep: So do you agree that in the clip Karpal Singh said that we will sue the Sultan together with the new state government as defendants if they persist.

Eliana: We could mean I.

Jagdeep: So what is we? Do you understand English? What is we? So do you agree that we is not I?

The reporter kept quiet.

Jagdeep: So do you agree that your understanding (of the word we) was a complete misunderstanding?

Eliana: I don’t know.

Needless to say, another 'knowledgeable' reporter. Kudos to RTM & Utusan.

Utusan Reporter Thought Ultra Vires Means 'To Insult'

At Kuala Lumpur High Court today, where Karpal Singh's is charged for sedititous statement during the Perak Crisis, a rigorous cross-examination by defence counsel Jagdeep Singh Deo was conducted on Utusan reporter, Mohd Nizam and he appeared rattled by the lawyer’s questions during the session.

Below is what I extracted from Malaysian Insider.

Jagdeep then proceeded to ask him if he understood the press release since it was in English.

Mohd Nizam: “I only understand it in general and not thoroughly.”

Jagdeep then asked the reporter if he agreed that what was said in the press conference was only an opinion of the constitutional crisis in Perak.

“I only report and do not give opinion,” Mohd Nizam replied.

The answer appeared to irritate Jagdeep who accused Mohd Nizam of being insincere.

Jagdeep then told Mohd Nizam to read part of the press release to the court.

Mohd Nizam: “Although the orders have been confirmed by the Sultan. If the decision is ultra vires then the decision can be adjudicated by the court.”

Jagdeep then asked Nizam to explain what ultra vires means to the court.

Nizam looking confused and replied: “To insult.”

As a reporter for 16 years, he is making himself to look like a clown by not knowing the term ultra vires. As reporter, by not checking facts and make report is already wrong but for the chief editor to allow publication of such wrongful report is really a big WRONG. Utusan Malaysia indeed Penyebar Fikiran "Rakyat".

Another Twist in Teoh's Case

A blog that appeared 2 days ago has posted evidence that show that Ronnie Liu, DAP Selangor State Assemblyman was involved in corruption. The blog also claims that the death of Teoh was caused by the massive scale of corruption by the DAP since they took over the running of the Selangor state government in March 2008.

I was quite curious on how this blogger is able to know so much. But that is not important, the most important is the documents that were posted in the blog. I had go through it. In order to make sure the documents are real, I did a little bit of research on my own. So, after some further checking the so called evidence in the blog, I found a lot of irregulaties in the documents. Lets see it 1 by 1.

Date
In the document, the earliest transection dates back to 28 January 2008 which was before March 8 General Elcetion. So, is it possible for Ronnie Liu to be able to become state assemblyman & siphoned the money back then?

Constituency
In the document, it claims that Ronnie Liu is the ADUN for N56 Sg. Pelek. For your information, Ronnie Liu is the ADUN for N47 Pandamaran. N56 Sungai Pelek constituency repsentitive is a MCA guy named Yap Ee Wah.

Authenticity
The documents don't contain any official emblem & logo of the state & it also doesn't has the the official chop & signature of the ADUN. In the same time the source for the documents are not clear. Can it be that this particular documents that were posted are fake documents?

With so many irregulaties, can this be another conspiracy by some parties to try to divert attention for their misdeed? There is high possibilities for it. So, keep your finger cross & let the drama unfold as some clowns are trying to cover their crime trails with lots of funny things.

Another Flip-Flop (PPSMI)

Finally, we had reverted back to Bahasa Malaysia for Mathematics & Science. We just gave up after just 6 years after the implementation of PPSMI(Pengajaran & Pembelajaran Sains & Matematik dalam Bahasa Inggeris). To me, the decision to revert is plain mindless & suicidal for our country.

How do the government arrive with this decision? The decision to change back to BM is actually based on the statistic that the government has done. The statistic shows that the rural area students & teachers are not showing obvious sign of improvement in the command of English & so decision was made to scrap the PPSMI's policy. But the main problem is, is English the real problem for all these?

Back in the 1970's, when we start to 'nationalise' our education system by changing the language of teaching from English into BM, the same problems that the current teachers were facing also applied to the teachers at that time. They face the same language problems & they overcome it. That proves that language is not the problem so why can't the teachers now do the same?

Is it because teachers now lack the spirit, enthusiasm or just lower quality then the teachers in the past? As far as I'm concern, most teachers are not that bad. They are willing to learn, willing to sacrifice for the sake to teach & give their best to our leaders of the future. So, what's is the problem? Student?

I don't think the problems came from the students & it is also not the problem whether the students are from rural or urban. Student, especially those in primary, pick up languages like a sponge & if we nurture & guide them well enough, they will not be any problems for them in the languages they had learned. As time passes, with more student using English, we will have good environment for the uses of English & slowly our English level will somehow increases.

So, what is the actual reason for the sudden change? No deny that it is political motivated in order to get the support from their own party & component parties' members & also defenders of mother tongue NGOs to consolidate the leadership position of certain individuals but why use education as one of the pieces in the political chess?

Education is the core for the progress of a country, for this 30 years, we saw our universities ranking dropping & quality of the student lowering which ultimately contributed towards our country slowing down progress in economy & governance. All these can be pointed towards the politicising of our education system by the government.

Do you want to know how bad is our education system condition? From what I had seen & heard, the condition of our education is quite bad that most high ranking officials & rich people are more willing to send their children to be educated in international school or foreign country's(eg:- Singapore, UK, USA) schools rather than our own school & university. The most irony is when the same bunch of people actually ask the rakyat to study & trust our country education system while they themselves actually doing the opposite. Isn't this prove that our education system is very wrong?

Well, if we really want to revamp the whole system & make Malaysia a more competitive country, then we have to send a strong signal to our leaders. We can't continue to be silent or be 'vocal' only during the election time. We have to do it now! Yes! NOW! Tell them what we want, tell them we can't afford another 30 years of bad policy anymore! Time to change!

Why Nuclear & Not Green Energy?

Well of all people the Singapore Business Times has reported that our Tenaga Nasional Berhad (which is a GLC owned by the taxpayers) has decided to build a nuclear power plant in the country.

How come we the citizens of this country did not know of this decision by TNB? Its not just any power plant but a nuclear power plant. It can have a significant impact on all our lives – especially if it blows up or is blown up.

What inspired me to write this post? It all thanks to Mr. Syed Akbar Ali's post of "Nuclear Power For Malaysia?". His post touches about the danger of nuclear power plant, the danger of the nuclear waste, the doubt about whether we have the expertise to handle all these nuclear things & also the doubt of whether we have place to conceal the nuclear waste. Basically, I agree with what he has said in his post.

So, if we choose to build nuclear power plant, can TNB guarantee something like Chernobyl will never happen? Can they guarantee those nuclear waste can be handle properly withouht causing any harm to anything around? Any mishandling or accident will create nuclear explosion(you will never know evethough scientist & engineer said the risk for it to happen is is low) or vast radioactive contamination. All these will threaten people's life & also our country's economy.

Furthermore, heat generated & the gas realeased by nuclear power plant contributes to global warming. Now the Earth is sick enough, do all this people intend to add more pain to our Earth & send another few more species of animals & plants into extinction & also killing a few more people due to change in climate patterns that was caused by global warming?

Besides that, do our Peninsula have the place for this plant? Don't tell me they want to build it near some kampung or bulldoze some forest for it. If they really build it, where they want to conceal all the nuclear waste? Nuclear waste can remain radioactive for 10 000 years & have to be concealed deep in the earth. Do we have the place to conceal it? Don't tell me that they wan to dispose the nuclear waste into the sea or just throw it in some landfill or just simply bury it in some place. All this will not be a problem if you don't mind that they are doing it just behind your house.

By the way, I heard & read in the news that nuclear can create cheaper energy than currently use fossil fuels huh? Yes, it may be cheap but when something happens then it won't be cheap. Not only so, all this nuclear materials such as uranium & plutonium will also face depletion because nuclear materials are non-renewable, similar to fossil fuels. According to calcualtion, uranium & plutonium supply are enough to last for "at least a century" at current consumption rates. So, when uranium & plutonium are running out, what next? Another few hundred million or billion?

Instead of spending so much money now & then, why not just invest in green energy? Government spend a lot now on R&D in local university & local research centre or buying equipments or import techology from other countries or invite foreign R&D company or encourage local company to produce or do all those togather, the benefits may not be seen immediately but in long term, our country can save a lot of money as maintaining cost for green energy power plant plant is less than fossil fuels & nuclear power plant. We will save even more as our country is free from the imapact of global oil price, in the same time, we are generating cheaper electric power which will benefit the people & our country's economy. Don't forget that by doing so, Malaysia is doing something good for Mother Earth & also save millions of life on Earth.

Another plus point for government to invest & using green energy is that hundred thousand or maybe a million or two of jobs will be created. This is due to more people will be needed by research centre & factory for producing & researching green energy generator. Not only that, green energy power plant will also need people for maintaining & operate it, thus creating even more jobs for our people. With so many people able to get a job, it also means our country definately will have a strong & bustling economy as more jobs mean more people will spend money on buying things & services.

As you can see, the benefits from green energy totally outweight the nuclear energy. Why still nuclear? I hope the people in charge can think twice again as those are the people's money.

Pada waktu itu, kita pun tidak berharap sokongan kaum Cina akan meningkat 40 peratus dan sebagainya cuma kita berharap ada peningkatan sedikit tetapi apa yang berlaku ia mencatatkan penurunan, macam tidak ada penghargaan terhadap apa yang kita lakukan.

Oleh itu kita kena kaji psikologi apa yang menyebabkan masyarakat Cina tidak bersedia untuk berubah, pada zaman dahulu tidak begitu.

Persoalannya apakah mereka melihat dalam konteks senario politik baru ini, selepas kerajaan BN tumbang di lima buah negeri, mereka sudah menjadi kuasa penentu? Orang Cina rasa sekarang, walaupun mereka kumpulan minoriti, merekalah menentukan kerana kelompok masyarakat Melayu sudah berpecah tiga kumpulan. Masyarakat Cina tidak berpecah mereka bersatu, setidak-tidaknya dari segi semangat apabila bersama-sama membuat sesuatu keputusan.

Dalam keadaan ini, mereka boleh menentukan keputusan sesuatu pilihan raya dan apabila kesan itu dapat dilihat dalam pilihan raya umum lalu dan beberapa pilihan raya kecil, mereka fikir sekarang mereka lebih ada kuasa penentu, bukan sahaja Cina malah masyarakat India pun begitu, apa tah lagi apabila mendapat kedudukan dalam kerajaan yang ditubuhkan pakatan pembangkang dengan menjadi Timbalan Ketua Menteri, Speaker dan exco kerajaan negeri, jadi ini bagi mereka seolah-olah tawaran yang diberikan oleh pihak sana lebih baik daripada kita pernah tawarkan dalam konteks BN, jadi ini kita harus teliti.

Muhyiddin’s interview has been carried in the Chinese newspapers yesterday, with headlines like “Muhyiddin – Chinese ungrateful to BN” (Sin Chew); “Chinese fooled Barisan Nasional. Muhyiddin – Get benefits but do not vote in support” (Nanyang); “BN feels tricked. Muhyiddin - Satisfy Chinese demands still no support” (China Press).

In the system of democracy, if you perform well,bring progress to the people & treat everyone equally, obviously people will be grateful towards you & want you to continue to serve them by voting you back & it will be the other way round if you did the opposite way. This is just part of natural selection in democracy.

Our 'beloved' DPM even dare to say that the non-Malay still won't vote BN even millions of ringgit were pour in during election. Come on la! What's the use giving sweet last minute. You all should had given sweet & keep giving long before that. Like what our parents & teachers like to say, study last minute won't bring you success. Such a easy common sense also he don't know. I really don't know how he can become DPM. Furthermore, those money that BN government gave is actually the tax payer money. So giving them money which is actually theirs can't be consider ungrateful.

From how Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin answered, we know that those people in BN or more specific UMNO still haven't learn their lesson even after undergoing March 8 political tsunami & losing nearly every post March 8 by-election. If they still persist & continue with this attitude, I believe that by the next general election they will either suffer greatly or totally being eliminated from Malaysia political scene. Don't forget that this country is a country that practice democracy where 'demo' means people & 'cracy' means power. We, the people don't owe you politician anything but you owe us something & you must be grateful towards us because we vote you in & in exchange, you must serve us .

Remember, serve us now before we serve you out!

WE VOTED YOU NOT FOR THE SAKE OF YOU TO BE CLOWN TO ENTERTAIN US OR FOR YOU TO GAIN SOMETHING BUT INSTEAD WE WANT YOU TO MAKE OUR LIFE BETTER! WE VOTED YOU ALL IS BECAUSE WE WANT YOU TO SERVE US BETTER! PLEASE PLEASE DO YOUR JOB!! THERE ARE ECONOMY, EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT & A LOT MORE FOR YOU ALL TO DO. Of Crossing Over & Sultan Decision

This few days, we heard a lot of this enacting anti-hopping law, suing Sultan & taking legal action against this newly form Perak government. So, let me give my view on crossing over & taking legal action against Sultan.

Crossing Over is

OK: If for the sake of the people & the country.
Not OK: If for the sake of oneself benefit & gain.

Conclusion
No need for any anti-hopping law to be enacted. After all is against the constitution. All we need is just a law that state that, if a assemblyman/assemblywoman quit his/her own party, a fresh election should be call. If the same assemblyman/assemblywoman wants to retain the seat by contesting in the election, he/she should obtain 1/4 of the approval signature from the constituent of that constituency.

Taking Legal Agianst Sultan is OK, if the Sultan or his family did something that goes against the law. After all, constitution permits legal action to be taken against any royal members by the people.

Conclusion
Is ok to sue any royal members if you think you really can win. LoL. But no matter what, looking at those BN & pro-BN supporter & groups go lodge report against those who wants to sue the Sultan, I find that, this people really got no medicine can cure. I can only say that they are big hypocrite & opportunist. Why didn't they make noise when our former Prime Minister tries to amend the constitution which strip away the Kings' power of immunity & veto. What an irony.

Of Perak in Chaos (Conclusion)

Finally BN's Menteri Besar was sworn in. Things will not end just like that.

We heard from the mass media(mostly control by BN government) that all this crossover was started by Pakatan Rakyat. True, it was started by PR but there is totally a big different between BN led crossover & that of PR. Let us see whats the difference.

Ashvin Raj: I would like to highlight a main difference between Anwar's attempt of Sept 16 to form a new government and what's going on in Perak. Anwar said that he had the numbers. He did not say that he ‘bought them’ for a price.

Anwar only gave a call but no money was offered. In this Perak case, a statutory declaration made by a PKR member strongly alleges that money ranging in the millions was offered to Pakatan YBs in order to entice them to crossover.

In this sense, money is the main difference here. I doubt PKR offered any sum of money to BN reps to join Pakatan, as they don't have access to huge federal funds, unlike BN which has millions of ringgit as the federal government of the day.

What has happened in Perak is cowardice to say the least. The people's mandate had not been given to BN to rule Perak, but to Pakatan.

I don't blame the Sultan of Perak, but Najib and his cronies for enticing politicians from Pakatan to join them. This is most shameful and cowardly in that they used a bait of millions of ringgit to lure them.

Were there any monies offered by Pakatan to any BN rep before Sept 16 to join Pakatan and form a new federal government?

Of course, it is ethically wrong to hop from one party to another. But my point here is this, who has the stronger bargaining power when it comes to enticing YBs to crossover?

Certainly it is the one with the most funds and assets accumulated over the past 50 years and that is none other than the corrupt BN regime led by Najib.

Lim Chong Leong: While it is correct to say that it was Anwar who started inviting MPs to crossover, he was always open for a snap election when a vote of no-confidence was to have been passed against Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s government.

Pakatan leaders have always justified crossovers only to show a vote of no-confidence against the BN leadership. Thereafter Parliament can be dissolved and new elections called.

Now Najib, if he hears the people of Perak, should seek the dissolution of the Perak assembly and call for a new mandate. But would he dare to do so?

So, did you see the differences? I hope you do.

A government with no support from the people will eventually collapse. This law applies to all government in the world & the BN led government can't be spare from this natural law. As I said earlier in my previous post, no matter how much there gain the biggest loser will still be BN.

Perak in Chaos 3

Sultan Azlan Shah has decided there will no dissolution of the Perak state assembly. He told Mohd Nizar to step down as MB to pave way for power transfer to BN. -Malaysiakini

Wee~ Now it seems that Sultan of Perak has send Malaysia's democracy a step nearer to the guillotine. Your Highness Majesty will set a precedent in Malaysia by accepting a governemnt that depands on frog. This is a warning sign to all those who concern of this country.

If nothing comes to stop it than we will see more 'frog action' in the future. What's the use for us to have election if so. Something got to be done, somebody got to stop it & save Malaysia democracy. Currently, Perak's State Assembly Speaker has filed a lawsuit to the High Court to vindicate that the 3 letters of resignation by the defectors are valid in order to pave way for a by-election. Hope that the court will make the wisest verdict in order to save Malaysia's democracy.

By the way, all hope for the Sultan to change his mind is not over yet. Chance for an election still exist. Everything will not be final before BN is sworn in as government by tommorow. Hope that the Sultan will, we his conscience & wisdom, dissolve the state assembly for the state election to be held.

If BN did indeed form the government than for sure this will be the turning point for both PR & BN. For BN, they might be very happy that they regain 1 state from PR but they regain just the state & not the heart of the people. The way they act & the way they do to gain Perak back has totally backfired strategically. They had anger up the nation. They will face the axe of the people in the next general election. By that time, I'm sure BN will be doom & maybe totally destroy. If this is so, than PR will be the next government for sure.

So, no matter what, the biggest loser will still be BN. Lets wait for its fall. HIDUP RAKYAT!!

Perak in Chaos 2

I'm in fury! Just came across RTM1 while I randomly switching channel on my tv. They are having this live broadcast concerning the situation in Perak. Basically, they just want to wait for the final words from Sultan of Perak.

That's not the point. What I'm angry is that when I switch to RTM1, the things I heard makes me angry. There is this Timbalan of Perak from UMNO on air through telephone gave his view. He said "if BN forms the state government there will be no Indian in the commitee. We can't be blame. All this is what the Indian community wanted & so be it. Let them learn their lesson from here".

WOW! How arrogant is he! Haven't even form the state government already wanted to show his claws. I can't imagine what happen if they really get to form.

Sultan of Perak, please dissolve the state assembly & let the people choose their goverment!

Perak in Chaos

Perak is in chaos now. Yes it is in chaos. Whay am I concerning so much? Because Perak is my place of birth & I still have many relatives there. Any sudden change of event in Perak will affect them.

Well, I won't comment about it since outside there, we got a lot of people giving their comment on it. No matter what, I'm really unhappy with that Bota assemblyman. This kind of people should't be representing even one people. He is just plain selfish. Damn him! He just jump here & there if he finds that the situation doesn't looks good.

So far, with 4 people who quit from Pakatan Rakyat's parties, PR now has became a minority goverment. It will be best for the Sultan to dissolve the state assembly & let the people decide who they want. That's the best way. Letting things go on like this by giving a chance to BN to form the state government withouht a fresh election will be a disaster for Malaysia democracy.

Really hope that Sultan of Perak will make the best decision of all. The whole nation is watching. Lets hope for something good.

Sin Chew's Reporter Has Been Released But Where is the ISA on Ahmad Ismail & Other Racists?

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 13 - Sin Chew journalist Tan Hoon Cheng was released at 2.30pm today. -Malaysian Insider-

As everyone has know that the detention of Sin Chew's reporter Tan Hoon Cheng under ISA is a big mistake & a miscarriage of justice, those donkeys & buffalos that should be detain rightfully, where are they?? Why not those ANIMALS being detain??

For those questions, our Home Minister, Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar has a good reasons & answers for it. Lets see what he says:

Ahmad Ismail
On why Ahmad was not detained for making racist comments, he explained that Umno had already punished him by suspending him for three years and stripping him from the party post while the police was also still investigating a sedition report against him.-The Star-

Datuk Seri Khir Toyo
When asked why action was not taken against other politicians like Datuk Seri Khir Toyo for racist remarks made, he said people should stop looking at things from an ethnic angle and start thinking as Malaysians. -The Star-

So, it is clear that as long you are 1 of their members than you are above the law of Malaysia. That is why they are not arrested. As simple as ABC.

ISA Spree

THING IS GETTING CRAZY. BN GOVERNMENT IS GOING ALL OUT TO CATCH ANYONE & IS GONA CREATE CHAOS IN THIS COUNTRY!!

11 hours after Raja Petra being detained, another 3 more people are being arrested under ISA. According to some sources, in the detain list, there is at least 13 people that need to be detain under ISA. If the it is true than another 10 more people will be arrested soon.

Most people online especially Malaysian has speculated that this so call OPS LALANG 2 is to create chaos in this country and so the current ruling government can declare a state of emergency for the country. With state of emergency declared, parliament & most of the basic civil rights will be suspended & it also another way to remain in power for the ruling government.

It is specualted that the real purpose for creating so much troubles is to thwart Anwar's plan to overthrow the current ruling government & create a new governement of its own on September 16.

No matter what it is, the current main evil, Ahmad Ismail, will he be 1 of the person on the list that need to be detain under ISA? Lets hope it is so.

ISA for RPK while Ahmad Ismail Got 3 Years Suspension

Raja Petra Kamaruddin (RPK) has been arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA) while Sin Chew Daily, Suara Keadilan and The Sun have all been issued show cause letters by the Home Ministry as reported by Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor, the Minister of Energy, Water and Communications. He said “The Cabinet has asked the ministry to direct MCMC to reinstate access to any blocked website with immediate effect. At the same time, it is asking MCMC to closely cooperate with the police, the Attorney-General’s Office and the Home Minister to monitor any website or blog to ensure that this does not contain seditious, racist or religiously insensitive remarks. Instead of blocking access to offensive websites, the Cabinet wants authorities to investigate and act quickly against the owners of these sites,”

RPK got arrested for what he has post on his Malaysia Today. It was claimed that his posting in Malaysia Today is endengering the order of the society in Malaysia. That is why he need to be detain under Internal Security Act 1960 (ISA).

That is what those people who is governing said.

So, why not Ahmad Ismail who is 1 big racist bastard that don't know how to think & repent & who is the real ass hole that said non-Malays are immigrant and shouldn't be treated fairly get arrested under ISA. He just merely get 3 years suspension for his membership from UMNO but not 3 years jail for the damage he has done.

THERE IS NOT GONNA BE ANY JUSTICE IN THIS COUNTRY AS LONG THOSE PEOPLE STILL UP THERE & GOVERN.
